Respiratory Therapist RRT

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, including invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patients receiving respiratory care and provide critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance respiratory care services.
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider certification.
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
