Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze shipped and completed projects to ensure completeness and accuracy of material issues and other costing transactions.
  • Research, analyze, and report job cost variances versus estimates.
  • Manage Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory and E&O inventory utilization.
  • Lead the yearly Physical Inventory, at two facilities, in full coordination and general ledger posting of the results.
  • Back up all positions within the accounting department as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a bachelor's degree in business with emphasis in accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preparing financial statements with variance explanations and footnotes.
  • Detail oriented with high level of attention to financial accuracy.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
