Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Summit Fire & Security. As a key member of our installation and service team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will also provide expert technical support to customers, resolving complex issues and improving system performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and test fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Service and repair fire alarm components, including power supplies, initiating devices, and control panels.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with fire alarm systems, identifying faults and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • NICET or state-specific certification preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in the fire life safety industry, specifically in fire alarm, required.
  • NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:
  • A competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
