Cafeteria Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to supervise the cafeteria team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food services to our students. As a Cafeteria Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing food services, including the cafeteria and special food services, in compliance with government and management directives.

• Plan, coordinate, and manage the administrative and food services activities of the department.
• Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance, and implement departmental and personnel changes as approved by the finance & administration director.
• Develop the departmental budget, monitor and control expenditures, and review and recommend changes to budget authorizations.
• Develop and implement new and revised policies and procedures affecting food services, coordinate with other departments to promote center objectives.
• Regularly assess and audit department for contractual compliance and quality of services to students, prepare audit and assessment reports.
• Provide appetizing, nutritious, and realistically proportioned meals in a clean, comfortable environment.
• Ensure quality of production and food purchase requirements, maintain cost control to stay within budget limitations.
• Conduct regular inspections of food service areas and ensure proper documentation and records maintenance of all inspections, maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with and provide support to the culinary arts training program, manage instruction of culinary arts trainees assigned to practicum in the cafeteria.
• Manage preparation of food services for special center functions, visitors, and off-center work-based learning assignments.

• High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree and supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid serve-safe certification and one year related experience required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
