Cybersecurity Analyst III

JT4, LLC is a leading provider of engineering and technical support services to the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy. We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst III to join our team.

The Cybersecurity Analyst III will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and developing IT infrastructure, information systems, and analyzing cybersecurity threats. This role will also involve acting as an ISSO to create and update system security plans, develop plans of action and milestones, manage IT asset management programs, and conduct audits.

• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with current government cybersecurity standards, codes, and regulations.
• Analyze cybersecurity engineering activities, information assurance, and security assessment and authorization in accordance with NIST SP or similar risk management frameworks.
• Act as an ISSO and interface with clients, customers, and external contractors to guide new IT systems through the approval process while supporting hardware, software, and networking requirements within the limitations of the cybersecurity architecture.
• Lead risk assessment analysis and propose mitigations to vulnerabilities in system security architectures.
• Lead and manage teams and tasks with minimal supervision or direction, author reports, correspondence, and technical studies.
• Coordinate schedules, manage projects, oversee inventory, assist in organizing major events, and perform other job-related duties as required.

• Planning, designing, executing, and leading discussion-based cybersecurity assessments such as cyber-table-top exercises.
• Formulating and/or interpreting cyber threat analysis of adversary techniques, tactics, and procedures used to disrupt computer networks.
• Planning, organizing, and working under strict DoD rules, codes, and deadlines.
• Proficiency in using security tools and technologies commonly employed in DoD environments, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, endpoint protection, security information event management, and security orchestration automation response systems.
• Creating solutions to both technical and non-technical issues that arise from interfacing with clients, customers, and other third parties.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer/information technology/cybersecurity or equivalent academic/technical training/certification and 7 years of experience in computer systems security and/or related area of expertise.
• CompTIA Security+ certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen and hold a valid, state-issued driver's license.

Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required for this position.

Routine travel to remote company work locations and work in field environment with occasional overnight assignment may be required.
