We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Castle Healthcare. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional resident care and support in all activities of daily living.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with serving meals and feeding, providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Provide personal hygiene assistance, including bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves.
- Assist with ambulating, turning, and positioning residents.
- Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight, recording intake and output.
- Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Protect resident privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state of practice.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Long term care experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
The physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, bending, and walking regularly, as well as lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.
