Rail Car Operator Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rail Car Operator to join our team in Mingo Junction, OH. As a Rail Car Operator, you will be responsible for operating rail car movers and switches to deliver materials to the melt shop and product storage yards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate rail car movers and switches to ensure efficient material delivery.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections to maintain proper working order.
  • Clean and store assigned PPE and equipment.


Requirements:
  • Two years of experience as a Rail Car Operator or related role.
  • Able to work in a physically demanding environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Capable of self-directed work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and regulations.

  • A starting salary of $25/hour with potential increases up to $27/hour based on qualifications and performance.
