About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Office Domain Lead to join our Data Management Team in Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering on the adoption of our global data strategy, governance, reuse, and best practices within a specific functional domain(s) of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the implementation of our data strategy within each domain, ensuring alignment with our overall strategy and objectives.
  • Work with stakeholders within a domain to identify key data enablement opportunities and ensure data governance and reuse are considered in all projects and digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure our data infrastructure within a domain is fit for purpose and aligned with best practices.
  • Implement a data sharing strategy within a domain that enables us to share data effectively and efficiently.
  • Contribute to Data Office team preparation, including action planning, execution, delivery, and communication at leadership forums/decision boards.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree with 5+ years data engineering or software development experience.
  • Knowledge of one of Python, R, and SAS and a willingness and ability to develop in the others.
  • Demonstrated delivery of cross-functional initiatives, preferably in systems/data-enabled/advanced analytics/process improvement.
  • Experience in implementing a data strategy within a large organization.
  • Strong understanding of data management best practices, including data quality, data security, and data privacy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
