Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IT professional to fill the position of Network and Communication Equipment Installer.

This individual will be responsible for setting up, delivering, and installing personal computers, telephones, networking, and peripheral equipment using established procedures and processes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer systems hardware and software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair, and a technical certification relevant to the role is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set-up, deliver, and install computer systems, networking equipment, and communication devices.
  • Configure, install, troubleshoot, and monitor communications devices, including switches, hubs, wireless devices, MESH networking components, voice system, RF systems, and other networking infrastructure.
  • Assist in managing site servers and process control infrastructure, including virtual and physical servers and storage devices.
  • Assist in project execution related to MIS and process infrastructure.
  • Participate in safety and environmental programs to ensure site operational goals.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Four years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair AND one Technical Certification in a discipline relevant to the role, OR six years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
  • High School diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Physical/Virtual server management training (preferred).
  • RF field experience (preferred).
  • A+ Certification (preferred).
  • Network + Certification (preferred).
  • Microsoft Server-related certification (preferred).
  • Fiber Optic Certified Technician (preferred).
  • MESH network certification (preferred).

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
