Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Signal Electrician to join our team at Government Jobs. As a key member of our public works department, you will be responsible for maintaining, replacing, installing, and changing traffic signals, controllers, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair traffic signals, controllers, and related equipment in the field and in the shop.
  • Perform electrical work, including installation, replacement, and maintenance of traffic signals and related equipment.
  • Work under the direction of a higher-level technician or technical supervisor.
  • Participate in on-call weekend rotations and snow removal efforts.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
