About Our Dental Practice:
River Run Dental is a leading dental spa in Colonial Heights, VA, providing comprehensive oral healthcare services to our patients. Our team of experienced dentists and hygienists work together to diagnose, treat, and manage our patients' overall oral health needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform licensed hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, x-rays, and periodontal therapy.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, health, and disease, as well as procedures and services offered.
- Verify and document patient health history and provide personalized care recommendations.
- Perform clinical hygiene functions, including exposing and evaluating diagnostic x-rays, taking and recording blood pressure, and co-assessing possible restorative treatments with the doctor.
- Determine patient needs and perform sealant placement, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Dental hygiene certification from an accredited dental hygiene school.
- Current hygiene license where employed.
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training as required by law.
- Experience with dental software.
