Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Navigator to join our team at the Community Economic Defense Project. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of low-income and working people by helping them secure affordable housing options.

About Us:
The Community Economic Defense Project (CEDP) is a Colorado-based nonprofit organization dedicated to building economic and racial equity. We work with clients to confront economic abuse, invest in community wealth, and challenge unjust systems.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive housing search support to clients, including assessments of their individual housing requirements and preferences
- Conduct thorough research on available housing options, utilizing online listings, contacting property managers, and collaborating with real estate agents
- Maintain accurate records of housing options in our database, ensuring quick access to vital information when needed
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new landlords to expand our housing inventory and cultivate strong relationships with existing landlords
- Negotiate lease terms and agreements with landlords, ensuring mutually beneficial arrangements for both parties

Requirements:
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in an advocacy, customer service, social services, or law-related environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply prior experience to improve processes and collaboration in a startup environment
- Demonstrated proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management databases or similar tracking and organizing technologies
- Brilliant written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, landlords, and other stakeholders
