Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality images for physicians' use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury.
- Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear instructions and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient files, including internal and external films, and ensure seamless communication with care teams.
- Prepare, clean, and stock work areas with supplies, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain necessary precautions for exposure to static magnetic fields and non-ionizing radiation/radiofrequencies.
- Communicate implant safety concerns and expectations to care teams and patients, ensuring a comfortable and safe MRI experience.
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved program.
- ARRT Certified in Magnetic Resonance or a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an MRI department required.
