Community Advisor

Job Overview:
The Mosaic Family Success Center in Glassboro, NJ is a community-based, family-centered gathering place where any community resident can go for support, information and services. Its purpose is to enrich the lives of children by strengthening families and neighborhoods. The Parent/Community Advisory Board (PAB) serves as a voice for the community, promoting center activities and services that reflect community needs and interests.

A successful candidate will be able to function within established procedures, meet communication requirements, and demonstrate competent verbal communication with internal and external customers. The individual will also need to work collaboratively with PAB members and agency staff to effectively communicate and problem solve. Additionally, they must attend PAB meetings regularly and serve on at least one committee. This role requires strong initiative, creativity, dependability, reliability, and the ability to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances.

The ideal candidate will have relevant skills and experience appropriate for PAB roles and responsibilities. They must successfully complete a criminal background check, be at least 18 years old, and have strong ties to the Glassboro community.
