**Job Description:**

As a CT Scan Operator at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, you will be responsible for producing high-quality CT scans for diagnostic purposes, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate all equipment in an effective, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Compute and utilize proper and safe radiation exposure factors.
  • Ensure all screening of patient's condition is complete prior to the initiation of the scan and continue to be aware of the patient's condition after the CT Scan.
  • Perform routine maintenance in cleaning all equipment.
  • Comply with house-wide BSI precautions and follow recommendations.
  • Follow the safety steps required to perform their duties and be in compliance with medical, state, and federal safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved accredited program of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT (R)(CT) Registered.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Kentucky KBMIRT Radiation Operator's License - Radiography (Temporary or Permanent).
  • Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) License – (Radiologic Technologist or Radiology Student Permit).
