Position: Secure Transport Specialist

Compensation: $20.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate automatic and/or manual vehicles ranging from 8,000 to 36,000 pounds for a minimum of 4 hours daily, following a designated route with at least 30 customer stops.
  • Maintain and service ATM machines on a scheduled basis, including restocking, collecting deposits, and ensuring the machines are balanced.
  • Handle customer change orders and deposits, which may involve lifting and transporting items weighing a minimum of 50 pounds by hand or several hundred pounds using a cart, with at least 30 stops daily for 4-5 hours.
  • Load and unload cargo from vehicles, which may include multiple bags and boxes of coins, each weighing up to 50 pounds, for 5-6 days a week.
  • Accurately count items, document amounts and serial numbers, and sign off on receipts and manifests while sorting cargo by route.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Performance Requirements:
  • Ability to consistently lift and carry heavy items over significant distances.
  • Capability to push and pull loaded carts weighing several hundred pounds.
  • Unrestricted physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach.
  • Safe operation of a motor vehicle in compliance with Driver Physical Qualifications set by the US Department of Transportation.
Job Overview:

As a Secure Transport Specialist, you will collaborate with your team to ensure the secure and efficient pickup and delivery of cash, coins, and valuables.

Essential Duties:
  • Drive armored vehicles and other assigned vehicles along specified routes to service customer locations.
  • Perform maintenance on ATMs and Smart Safes.
  • Execute customer service stops, including delivering change orders and collecting deposits.
  • Load and unload vehicle cargo, including multiple bags and boxes of coins.
  • Count, record, and verify cargo items.
  • Fulfill other responsibilities as directed by management.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid driving record with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate through an approved medical examiner.
  • A valid firearms permit or the ability to meet applicable firearms requirements may be necessary.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time schedule averaging 40 to 50 hours per week, typically requiring a minimum of 5 days of work.
  • Approximately 90-95% of work is conducted in air-conditioned vehicles.
