Job Overview:

Deliver professional nursing care as a Registered Nurse. Avera McKennan expects all nurses to practice competently within the ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice.


Qualifications:
  • Graduation from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is highly preferred; graduation from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
  • Completion of orientation for various procedures and other in-services is required.

Licensure/Certification:
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota or meet multi-state licensure requirements.
  • Oncology certification is preferred.
  • Chemotherapy certification through the Oncology Nursing Society's (ONS) core curriculum must be completed within one year of employment.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; 56 hours every two weeks.


Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is competitive, with actual rates determined by experience.
