Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Breast Imaging Sonographer to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will conduct various ultrasound examinations, including breast, small parts, vascular, and obstetrical studies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations, including breast imaging and other specialized areas.
  • Assess clinical history to correlate with the examinations performed.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ultrasound equipment for optimal performance.
  • Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided procedures as necessary.
  • Identify and document anatomical structures and pathologies using ultrasound technology.
  • Maintain and care for ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
  • Generate detailed reports based on ultrasound findings.
  • Notify medical staff of any urgent abnormalities requiring immediate attention.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and make informed decisions during examinations.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently while adapting to a dynamic work setting.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and maintain a positive demeanor.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance patient care.
  • May undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in Breast Ultrasound is essential.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer.
  • Must hold accreditation from ARDMS or ARRT(S).
