Job Summary:

The City of Fargo is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Police Officer to join our team. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws and maintaining order in our community. You will work closely with the public, responding to emergency calls, conducting investigations, and providing support to victims of crime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to the public
  • Conduct investigations into crimes and gather evidence
  • Provide support to victims of crime and their families
  • Work closely with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to build relationships and address public safety concerns
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid North Dakota driver's license required
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must pass a background check and polygraph test
