Job Overview

Klamath Basin Behavioral Health is a leading provider of mental health services, dedicated to delivering compassionate care throughout our community.

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Recovery Specialist to join our team at the Link Access Center.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals in need of mental health and substance use services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assist clients in sobering and hold programs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Provide basic services such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry, while coordinating follow-up services with mental health and substance use disorder programs.
  • Administer medications under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), in compliance with state regulations.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and provide therapeutic interventions as prescribed.
  • Facilitate discharge processes for clients, including completing necessary paperwork and coordinating follow-up care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) certification, meeting one of the following criteria: Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field, or a combination of at least three years of relevant work, education, or training.
  • Valid Oregon driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Possession of QMHA certification and CPR/First Aid certification throughout employment.

Compensation and Benefits:
