Job Summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a home healthcare setting. As a RN with our company, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and Plan Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members to identify actual and potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Develop and implement individualized care plans using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
  • Evaluate and Revise Care Plans: Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
  • Use Clinical Judgment: Utilize clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing priorities.
Requirements
  • Current RN License: Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Health Certificate: Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
  • PPD or Chest X-Ray: Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • BLS Card: Current BLS card.
  • Experience: One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
