**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, including financial institutions, and develop strategies to drive profitable growth.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and underwriting analyses to determine coverage and pricing for new and renewal business.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key trading partners, including agents and brokers, to drive submission activity and grow the business.
- Develop and negotiate price, coverage, terms, and conditions for all new business and renewals, while identifying opportunities for account rounding and growth.
- Meet or exceed new business production goals while maintaining profitability across the assigned portfolio and adhering to underwriting authority and strategies.
- Maintain and develop relationships with the branch, brokers, and clients to drive growth and retention.
- Develop and maintain a prospect pipeline to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Underwriting Associates to retain key assigned renewals and lead coordination of Risk Engineering and Claims service plans.
**Requirements:**
- 3-5 years of multi-line underwriting experience, preferably in the core middle market segment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting processes, risk analysis, and insurance marketplace conditions.
- Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in financial institutions P&C underwriting is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
**What We Offer:**
Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary range of $80,500 to $137,000, depending on skills and experience.
