Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC service technician to join our team. As an HVAC Service Technician at All Temperatures Controlled, Inc., you will be responsible for the operations, repairs, replacement, and preventative maintenance of commercial air conditioning, heating systems, and refrigeration systems.

This includes air handlers, fan coil units, exhaust fans, make-up air units, reach-in refrigeration, walk-in refrigeration, and ice machines.


Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations, using equipment such as hand or power tools.
  • Provide quality customer service while troubleshooting and diagnosing air conditioning, refrigeration, heating units, and various other associated equipment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of service work performed, with complete reports, parts needed, and condition of systems needed for any follow-ups.
  • Assist with providing estimates, proposals, follow-ups, bid preparation, and parts orders when assigned or needed.
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule as needed.
  • Maintain good working order of company vehicle, equipment, and electronics.
  • Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in HVAC preventative maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Have own industry-specific tools.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to gain industry knowledge.
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, and mechanical aptitude skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform the requirements of the position.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Available and willing to work overtime and the 24 emergency on-call cycle.
  • EPA certification.
