We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fabricator to join our team at ITAC. As a key member of our manufacturing organization, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating mechanical parts and equipment according to required specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Read and Interpret Blueprints and Specifications: Accurately read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to create equipment and products.
- Welding and Fabrication: Utilize various tools and equipment to assemble and fabricate mechanical parts and equipment, including handheld tools such as screw guns, drill guns, and grinders.
- Quality Control: Perform quality work checks to ensure products meet quality standards and rework or repair welded parts and products as needed.
- Maintenance and Improvement: Continuously evaluate weld machine performance and technology to improve cycle times and maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods.
- Teamwork and Communication: Prioritize work flow through effective communication with management staff and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Education and Certification: High School Diploma or GED and ability to pass a 3G plate test.
- Technical Skills: Basic reading skills, ability to follow directions, and basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
- Physical Demands: Regularly lift 30-50 pounds, perform repetitive tasks, and possess manual dexterity to assemble parts quickly and accurately.
