Job Overview:

This position will provide comprehensive respiratory care in various patient care settings. Key responsibilities include administering respiratory care therapeutic modalities, managing mechanical ventilation, and assessing the appropriateness and effectiveness of therapy administered. Additionally, practitioners will assist in the clinical education of Respiratory Therapy Students and participate in diagnostic activities such as ABG procurement and analysis, bedside pulmonary function testing, and hemodynamic and other noninvasive procedures.

Job Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registry or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Current Ohio licensure
  • Knowledge of advanced cardiopulmonary physiology and other sciences related to respiratory care and relevant pharmacology
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and talking. Additionally, the ability to lift < 50 lbs, push, pull, reach, and use hands is required. Visual acuity for far and near vision is also essential.
