Medical Receptionist

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors
• Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare teams
• Assist with answering overflow calls and providing support to Communications Specialists
• Notify units of families or significant others who have arrived to pick up discharging patients
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and friends
• Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and quality audits

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of administrative/clerical experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms

• Minimum one year reception desk experience in a medical/behavioral health facility
