Certified Nursing Assistant

The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents in our long-term care facility. As a member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of our residents, as outlined in their care plans.
You will assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support. You will also assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment, as well as providing range of motion and passive exercises.
In addition to providing direct care, you will also assist with food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for our residents. You will also aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures, as needed, and document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.

Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support

- Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures, as needed
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
