Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to sell heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, parts, and supplies.

• Welcome customers on the sales floor or through phone inquiries, identifying their needs and providing expert advice on product features and usage.

• Showcase products effectively, recommending options that align with customer requirements while highlighting key selling points such as quality and functionality. Maintain an organized and inviting showroom environment.

• Utilize catalogs and databases to assist customers in finding replacement parts, providing alternatives when necessary.

• Process customer orders, ensuring accurate fulfillment from stock or arranging transfers from other locations. Prepare sales orders and quotes as needed.

• Handle payment transactions and assess returned items to determine eligibility for refunds or replacements.

• Proactively reach out to both new and existing customers via phone to drive sales growth. Address inventory concerns and customer inquiries promptly.

• Assist in warehouse operations as required.

• Collaborate with clerical staff to manage open orders, purchase orders, and warranty return authorizations.

• Follow directives from supervisory staff and provide support to warehouse personnel.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

    • Strong mathematical skills for calculating discounts and commissions.

    • High School Diploma or GED is required.

    • Physical requirements include occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and the ability to perform tasks that may involve bending or kneeling.

    • Previous experience in the HVAC industry is preferred.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
