Hotel Night Auditor

We are seeking a skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Loves Travel Stops & Country Store. As a Night Auditor, you will play a key role in ensuring a profitable and well-operated business.

• Conduct nightly audit-related duties with excellence
• Maintain and promote hospitality and customer service at all times
• Welcome and serve guests in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, packages, and promotions
• Input and retrieve information from the computer, including guest information, room rates, and additional charges
• Operate a cash register and maintain an accurate and organized drawer
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and friendly manner
• Field guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction
• Perform nightly balancing of in-room video and long-distance telephone services
• Perform express checkout folios and room key inventory
• Communicate all pertinent shift information to the Front Desk Supervisor, General Manager, and desk staff

• Ability to learn and operate a cash register
• Ability to learn and perform basic office/clerical tasks
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Time management skills, organization skills, and a strong work ethic

The Night Auditor will work in a fast-paced environment with occasional exposure to outdoor elements in all seasons. The noise level can be loud at times.
