WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a smart software engineer to join our Engineering Team. As a member of our team, you will work on full-stack application development projects to solve interesting problems for Simpli's Ad Technology platform. To succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 4 years of web development experience, programming with server-side languages such as Ruby, Python, Elixir, Node, or something similar. You should also be familiar with an MVC framework such as Ruby on Rails, Django, etc. Additionally, you should have strong OOP/OOD skills, enjoy writing clean, dry code, and have experience with TDD or writing automated unit and integration tests. Knowledge of any JavaScript framework (VueJS, Ember, React, Angular, etc.) and relational databases and SQL is also required.

OTHER TOOLS IN YOUR BELT: While not required, experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Elixir and Functional Programming, Vue JS, Redis or other NoSQL solutions, Resque or similar background processing frameworks, Concurrency/Multi-threading, TDD/BDD and surrounding tools (RSpec, Jasmine), Design Patterns/Domain Driven Design would be beneficial. You should also have strong soft skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical team members, accept and give feedback constructively, and be open to discussing different options and accepting the direction the team decides to take on a project. WORKING WITH US HAS ITS REWARDS: We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $145,000, based on experience, 17 PTO days, 401K match, long-term incentive plan, and employer-sponsored healthcare options.
