Excellent Opportunity for a Dedicated Banquet Server at Hudson's Bar & Grill

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced banquet server to join our team at Hudson's Bar & Grill. As a banquet server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all guest requirements are met during events.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review banquet event orders to ensure seamless execution of daily functions.
  • Offer professional, engaging, and friendly service to guests throughout the event.
  • Complete side work and related cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare banquet rooms for assigned functions by setting up tables, chairs, and other equipment.
  • Serve meals and refreshments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures to ensure accurate reporting and inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate levels of food and beverage items, including restocking as needed.
  • Set up and break down buffet or special food service tables/equipment.
  • Ensure all doors and equipment are securely locked, and keys are returned after each event.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic bar terminology and wine service to enhance the guest experience.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure proper working order and report any issues to management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
  • Conduct self in a professional manner at all times, representing Hudson's Bar & Grill positively.
  • Identify and report any unsafe conditions or hazards to management immediately.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues across all departments.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth event execution.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Possession of relevant government licenses or certifications.
  • Knowledge of quality food service techniques and standards.
  • Exceptional guest service skills, with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

  1. 6-8 hours: Standing/Walking
  2. 3-6 hours: Crouching/Bending/Stooping, Lifting/Carrying (up to 40 lbs.), Pushing/Pulling, Reaching, Grasping
  3. Up to 1 hour: Climbing Stairs, Sitting

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is $16.28-$18 per hour, offering competitive compensation and benefits package.
