Travel Nurse RN Specialist

Vibra Travels is seeking a travel nurse specialist to join their team in Durham, North Carolina. As a travel nurse specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the emergency department.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this opportunity is $104,000 per year, based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week. In addition to your hourly rate, you will also receive a tax-free stipend.
Job DescriptionThis travel nursing job requires a registered nurse with acute care experience in ICU, step down, med surg/tele, and acute rehab. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be eligible for this opportunity, you must have:
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor
- Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP)
- 1 full year of RN experience; Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required
We are looking for a travel nurse specialist with the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to project a professional image
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
