Personal Injury Claims Specialist

The Isaacs & Isaacs PSC is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join their team in handling personal injury claims from inception to settlement.
Job OverviewIn this role, you will work under the supervision of management to gather and analyze intake information, enter pertinent details into client files, and investigate each case to document findings.
You will maintain contact with clients, verify insurance coverage, manage medical care, and explain claim procedures. Additionally, you will prepare documents, correspondence, and settlement negotiations, as well as collect documentation of damages sustained.
This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities- Critical Thinking: Analyze complex cases, identify key issues, and develop effective strategies for resolution.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients, provide clear explanations of claim procedures, and ensure timely updates on case status.
- Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage, negotiate with carriers, and manage subrogation liens.
- Medical Case Management: Coordinate medical care, obtain necessary documentation, and communicate with healthcare providers.
- Document Preparation: Prepare demand letters, billing inquiries, and other correspondence, as well as settlement negotiations and mediation packages.
- File Organization: Maintain accurate and organized case files, utilizing tools like FileVine to track progress and reminders.
- Education: 2 years of experience in personal injury law, Microsoft Office, and paralegal work are required.
- Skills: Strong work ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant laws, motor vehicle accidents, and insurance policies is essential.
