  • Possession of a valid Florida Driver's license and dependable transportation is essential.
  • Utilization of a personal vehicle to reach clients' residences is required.
  • Ability to read, write, complete documentation, and accept guidance.
  • Access to a smartphone for effective communication and time management is necessary.
  • Responsibility for personal transportation to each assigned client location during work hours.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Capability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial.
  • Immediate reporting of client-related concerns to the office is expected.
  • Preferred experience includes 1+ years in janitorial or cleaning roles.
  • Experience in home-based care is advantageous.
  • Physical ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Completion of 30 hours of training, both classroom and on-site, with demonstrated proficiency in required tasks.
  • Compliance with AHCA/DOEA background checks and drug screening is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage time effectively, maintain work routines, and ensure customer service excellence while keeping management informed of workflow.
  • Conduct general cleaning of all designated areas within the residence as instructed.
  • Execute specialized cleaning tasks as per specific job orders.
  • Responsible for waste removal and recycling efforts.
  • Address emergency cleaning and maintenance requests promptly.
  • Assist with tasks related to pest control as needed.
  • Ensure that rooms are organized and well-maintained.
  • Specialized cleaning services may include hoarding situations, heavy cleaning, and window cleaning, with scheduled cleanings on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Afternoon Shift: 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM
  • A 30-minute transition/lunch break is included.
  • Availability during designated business hours is required, meaning being accessible on-site or via telecommunication.
  • Overtime may be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Frequent communication with clients to address inquiries or concerns is a key aspect of this role.
  • Accurate information exchange is essential in these interactions.
  • Ability to move, transport, position, and handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds is necessary for various tasks.
  • Occasional operation of office equipment such as computers, calculators, and printers may be required.
  • Work will primarily take place in clients' home environments.
