About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at Anagh Technologies Inc. This is a hybrid contract role where you'll be expected to work onsite 3 days a week and remotely for the remaining 2 days.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Build, optimize, and scale applications leveraging AWS cloud services including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, and RDS.
  • Collaboration and Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define architecture, and ensure smooth deployments.
  • Code Quality and Security: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while mentoring junior developers on best practices. Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and highly available.
  • DevOps and Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning using AWS services.
  • Problem-Solving and Leadership: Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and bug fixes to ensure the highest quality of the product. Stay current with industry trends and provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and frameworks.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on the MERN stack.
  • AWS Experience: 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, including hands-on experience with EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, RDS, and VPC.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in building and maintaining RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express. Strong proficiency in React for building dynamic and responsive front-end applications. Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • DevOps and Automation: Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline). Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Cloud Security and Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of cloud security best practices. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development tools (Jira, Confluence, Git).
Nice to Have
  • AWS Certifications: AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator).
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Front-end Frameworks: Familiarity with other front-end frameworks and technologies (e.g., Angular, Vue.js).
