Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled Echo/Cardiovascular Technologists for a travel opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Echo Tech, your primary duties will include:
  • Utilizing cardiac ultrasound equipment to capture precise images for physician evaluation.
  • Preparing and caring for patients undergoing echocardiographic procedures.
  • Educating patients and their families about the processes involved.
  • Exhibiting proficiency in conducting echocardiographic studies.
  • Performing high-quality Doppler and color Doppler examinations.
  • Acquiring accurate Stress Echo and Dobutamine images in accordance with physician standards.
  • Conducting Transesophageal echocardiograms while meeting physician expectations.
  • Understanding cardiac disease processes and effectively interpreting acquired images.
  • Reporting findings to the interpreting physician for timely assessment.
  • Completing all necessary processing for each study conducted.
  • Maintaining and disinfecting equipment as per departmental protocols and identifying any issues for reporting.
  • Keeping precise patient records.
  • Utilizing the McKesson PACS system effectively.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Current BLS certification and ARDMS or CCI National Certification.
  • State-specific licensing as required.

Echo Techs should be capable of standing and walking for extended periods, as well as bending and stooping without difficulty. A comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is essential.
