Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a hospital in Ronceverte, West Virginia. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients and their families, including assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given.

Job Details:
  • Contract Type: 13-week contract with possibility of extension
  • Shift: 12 hours, nights
  • Hours per Week: 36 hours
  • Pay Package: $1,422 - $1,583 per week (tax-free stipend amount to be determined)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families
  • Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment
