Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Commercial Electrician Specialist to perform various tasks related to the layout and installation of commercial and industrial electrical systems. As a key member of our team, you will work under the supervision of a Project Manager, Superintendent, Foreperson or Senior Journeyperson, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Work from construction drawings (electrical, mechanical, architectural)
- Install branch systems, distribution systems, lighting systems, motor power control systems, special electrical systems, underground systems
- Troubleshoot electrical problems utilizing test equipment
- Conduct on-the-job training of apprentices
- Safeguard and maintain company equipment, material, tools, and vehicles
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Minimum four years experience in the electrical trade
- Completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program and ability to obtain Maryland and Delaware Electrical Journeyperson License
- Ability to properly lay out and administer small jobs (one to three team members)
- Good working knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Confident, decisive, self-motivated, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have reliable transportation to and from assigned work location/office
- Must maintain valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must purchase company required personal tools and maintain in good condition
Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated annual salary: $52,000 - $66,400
