  • Exhibit knowledge of floor maintenance, equipment operation, and safe chemical handling practices.
  • Comprehend waste disposal procedures and the management of cardboard materials.
  • Execute waste removal tasks while adhering to safe lifting techniques.
  • Uphold kitchen hygiene standards as mandated by health regulations.
  • Utilize facility supplies and equipment effectively to minimize loss and waste.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the workspace, including food preparation tools.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in back-of-house restaurant roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate efficiently in a high-pressure environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capacity to manage stress while maintaining a friendly and composed demeanor.
  • Ability to handle high work volumes while adhering to Emmy Squared's quality benchmarks.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and holidays, and adapt to various chemical handling requirements.
  • Physical capability to lift/carry items weighing up to 40 lbs. and push/pull items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
