We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro/Ortho department. This role offers a sign-on bonus of $20,000, reflecting our commitment to attracting top talent.
Department:
Neuro/Ortho
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 36 hours per week, Night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends and holidays as per unit rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care following established policies and protocols.
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans, documenting and communicating patient conditions as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care under the supervision of the primary RN.
- Execute physician and nursing orders efficiently.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with healthcare team members.
Qualifications:
- Licensure / Certification: BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within one month of hire. Registered Nurse license required within three months of hire.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited nursing school required within six months of hire; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
