About the Role

As a Habilitation Specialist at Pathways, Inc., you will play a vital role in implementing individualized program plans to support skill acquisition and independence for adults with developmental disabilities.

Your responsibilities will include teaching employment skills, community safety, travel training, personal hygiene, dining, ambulation, behavioral support, and overall health and well-being.

This position requires regular meetings with supervisors and conferences with other Service Planning Team members to ensure services meet expressed needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach employment skills to support individuals in gaining independence
  • Implement community safety and travel training programs
  • Support individuals in maintaining personal hygiene and overall health and well-being
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED, preferred
  • One year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, preferred
  • A valid driver's license passing insurability guidelines
  • Meet requirements related to Criminal History Record checks
Working Arrangements

This is a part-time position working Monday through Friday, daytime hours with some evenings, up to 30 hours per week.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $16.50 - $18.00 per hour, based on relevant experience.
