The Property Leasing Specialist serves as the primary representative for the property, responsible for welcoming potential residents and showcasing the unique features and advantages of the community. This role is essential in ensuring a positive experience for both prospective and current residents.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance: Conduct all activities in alignment with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and relevant laws governing residential leasing.
- Knowledge: Acquire comprehensive understanding of leasing agreements, application processes, and company protocols as outlined in the operational guidelines.
- Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with management regarding any unlawful activities or concerns observed on the property.
- Foster a welcoming and professional environment in the leasing office.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area and inspect available units regularly.
- Handle incoming inquiries and provide assistance to prospective residents, addressing their needs and preferences.
- Stay informed about local market trends and contribute innovative ideas to enhance property marketing and resident satisfaction.
- Process lease applications accurately and inform applicants of their status.
- Manage lease documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and follow up as necessary.
- Assist in preparing reports and conducting market surveys.
- Complete required training courses to stay updated on industry standards and practices.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leasing skills, organizational abilities, and basic computer proficiency. Flexibility in work hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
Physical and Environmental Requirements- Ability to engage in physical activities such as walking, standing, and lifting as necessary.
- Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
