Housekeeping Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Avantic Lodging Enterprises.

The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain cleanliness and organization in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel. This involves daily servicing of guest rooms, restocking supplies, and adhering to company standards and safety procedures.

This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The successful candidate will be able to convey information clearly, evaluate situations accurately, and maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure environments.

• Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to scheduling requirements as per hotel standards.
• Comply with Avantic Lodging Enterprises' standards and regulations for safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms, including removing trash and dirty linen.
• Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
• Prepare housekeeping cart for next day's use.
• Clean rooms with doors closed unless otherwise instructed by guests.
• Report any maintenance issues or lost items to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.

This role requires working in an indoor environment, with occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals and physical demands such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

The estimated salary for this position is $25,000 - $35,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.

• High School diploma or equivalent required; experience in hospitality or related field preferred.
