As a Backroom Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring that team members are processing efficiently and collaboratively. Your role is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience by engaging with shoppers and maintaining a tidy and organized store.

• Foster a positive experience for both internal and external customers.
• Encourage a culture of integrity and confidentiality.
• Oversee merchandise delivery, prioritizing the timely processing of stock onto the sales floor.
• Train and guide team members on merchandising and processing techniques.
• Ensure all merchandise is appropriately tagged, secured, and organized.
• Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to facilitate the smooth flow of goods.
• Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as necessary.
• Organize back stock for efficient replenishment.
• Uphold merchandising standards and maintain cleanliness in the backroom.
• Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste protocols.
• Provide updates to management regarding priorities and progress.
• Recognize and offer constructive feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs for Associates.
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty initiatives.
• Support store shrink reduction efforts.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Excellent communicators with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Adaptable to changes in direction or unexpected challenges.
• Team-oriented, collaborating well with peers and supervisors.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy items with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to train and mentor others.
• Possessing at least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months in a leadership role.

This position offers a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, based on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
