Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Production Machine Operators. The ideal candidates will possess the flexibility to work various shifts, including 2nd shift (2pm-10pm), 3rd shift (10pm-6am), or rotating 12-hour night shifts (6pm-6am).

Starting compensation for this role is $20.64 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential.

Position Summary

New hires may be required to complete an initial training period on a day shift lasting 6-8 weeks, regardless of the assigned night shift.

The Production Machine Operator will be responsible for overseeing machine setups and changeovers, troubleshooting issues, making informed decisions regarding machine adjustments, and ensuring the inspection and packaging of finished goods meet customer specifications.

Additionally, the operator will handle various coating, finishing, and powered industrial vehicles to facilitate the movement of inbound and outbound products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine setups and changeovers of machinery, making necessary adjustments to optimize processing operations.
  • Execute production orders according to product specifications and established practices, which may involve sorting, labeling, and packaging products to meet quality standards.
  • Perform regular testing and inspections of products using standard measuring tools to ensure compliance with multiple characteristics.
  • Implement and uphold quality standards and procedures throughout the production process.
  • Adhere to production schedules and optimize production sequences for maximum efficiency.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and directives from senior technical personnel, monitoring relevant controls to ensure compliance with production specifications.
  • Maintain accurate production records and logs regarding equipment and product performance.
  • Ensure the work area is stocked with necessary supplies to complete tasks effectively.
  • Operate heavy machinery to transport, load, and ship materials and finished products within the manufacturing environment.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and address discrepancies to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental and site goals, actively participating in all tasks required to operate the facility.
  • Engage in team decision-making processes, contributing to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide assistance in project work and other special requests as needed.
