We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher Busser to join our team at The TUJO Restaurant Group. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to our high standards of sanitation and hygiene.
  • Scrape and pre-rinse food from dirty dishes and load them into the dishwasher, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Wash pots and pans either by hand or using the dishwasher, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Dispose of trash and garbage in the designated dumpster area, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Clean work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment, and floors, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure guest tables and areas are cleaned according to sanitation and housekeeping standards, providing a positive dining experience for our guests.
  • May assist with some Prep Cook duties as trained and assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read and write, ensuring effective communication with colleagues and management.
  • Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours and carry objects, demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
