Position Overview
MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, is actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our esteemed Hospital Medicine department.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting patient interviews to gather comprehensive information, including symptoms, medical histories, and family histories.
  • Performing and interpreting necessary diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnosing conditions and formulating treatment plans for various injuries and illnesses.
  • Prescribing and administering medications as required.
  • Maintaining and reviewing detailed patient records, including histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and outcomes.

Work Environment
This role is primarily situated within a clinical and office setting. The physician will be accountable for fulfilling all job-specific responsibilities while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree and hold a valid medical license in the state of Maryland.
