We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Architecture Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gain valuable experience, and develop your skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Assist lead engineers with project duties and tasks
- Perform standard design of engineering systems and correct/update designs as needed
- Contribute to the planning and design of facilities and processes related to drinking water supply, treatment, and distribution, as well as wastewater treatment and stormwater management
- Participate in the planning and design of manufacturing facilities, administrative buildings, district energy systems, data centers, and mission-critical facilities
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in a post-secondary education and/or technical certificate program in a field related to the work done in the department
- Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred
- Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred
- Actively involved in campus, community, or other volunteer activities or organizations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field
