This position offers a starting pay of $30/HR, with the opportunity for overtime primarily during weekdays. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a physically engaging and fulfilling position while leading a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret construction blueprints to execute tasks effectively
- Utilize necessary tools to finish concrete surfaces
- Assist in positioning concrete trucks for pouring
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members
- Address conflicts and foster a positive team environment
- Set up forms for concrete pouring
- Distribute concrete post-pour
- Examine, patch, and restore concrete to ensure high-quality results
- Monitor project timelines to ensure deadlines are met
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Potential for earlier starts or extended hours based on project needs
- $30-40/hr based on experience
- At least 2 years of experience supervising a concrete team
- Physical capability to stand, lift, bend, kneel, and perform all necessary labor tasks
- Bilingual candidates are preferred
- Concrete finishing
- Construction labor
- Leadership
- Reinforcement bar (rebar) knowledge
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
