Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic & Spine Specialty Unit at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a medical surgical environment, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in our Orthopedic & Spine Specialty Unit, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of medical and post-surgical patients
  • Providing education and support to patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
  • Maintaining and reviewing patient records, including posting test results and examination findings
  • Administering medications as ordered by physicians
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or hold compact licensure
  • Hold a nursing diploma or ASN, with a BSN preferred
  • Have previous experience in an acute care setting, with a strong preference for those with experience in orthopedic and spine care
  • Hold current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Be eligible for national specialty board certification within 6 months of eligibility
  • Possess strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills
